The key to my coaching is helping people clarify and envision what truly matters to them, and to organize their life, work, relationships — and their actions! — so they support that vision.

Creating the future requires more than specific skills that only apply to specific areas.

It requires generic skills (skills for creating skills) and a structure in which to organize and apply skills effectively.

Structure matters! Every action you take happens within an organizing framework. If your framework doesn't guide you toward desired results, it'll guide you away from them. Your actions will be a waste of time and energy.

To create the future you want, you must recognize the differences in dynamics — and results — between problem-solving and creating. This is step one in my personal coaching work.

You can't create results in an energy-killing "Yeah, but…" structure. You create pessimism, uncertainty, frustration.
